All BCMS Office Managers are welcome to join this dynamic group!
Monthly breakfast meetings are held the 3rd Wednesday of each
month, at Boulder Community Hospital's
main campus. Annual dues are just $25. per staff member, $15. for
each additional staff member.
Not only are excellent speakers prepared to give you
concise information on topics of
interest to your office, but the opportunity to network with
other office managers is
invaluable - you don't need to reinvent the wheel -
chances are other office managers
have expertise in those areas of mutual interest and concern as well!
Topics that have been addressed at recent meetings: staffing
issues such as payscales and
job descriptions; the three fall "Open House Teas" BCMS is planning
where patients will
be invited to listen to speakers on Women's Health and
Hormone Replacement, Coronary
Disease (prevention, risk factors, value of heart scan, HBP), and
"Aging-Standing
Against the Tide" (importance of exercise, psychological options,
nutrition, cosmetic
options); and a presentation from Pam Knight about the new
office of MEDirect in
Broomfield which is an exclusively medical office staffing business.
New 2003 Office Manager meeting dates. They are the 4th Wednesday:
March 26, April 23, May 28, June 25, July 23, August 27, September 24,
October 22 and November 26. Due to the holidays, the December
meeting will be December 17. All are at 7:00 a.m. at the
Medical Pavillion attached to the Boulder Community Hospital.
